Refund Policy

This Refund Policy outlines the terms governing cancellations, refunds, and transfers for registrations made for UV Startup Run 2026 (“Event”), organized by Urban Vault.

By registering for the Event, participants agree to the following policy.

1. GENERAL REFUND POLICY

All registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable under normal circumstances.

Registration fees once paid will not be refunded, irrespective of participation, non-attendance, or inability to attend the Event.

This applies to all categories, ticket types, and promotional registrations.

2. PARTICIPANT-INITIATED CANCELLATIONS

Refunds will not be issued for:

Personal reasons

Travel issues

Health conditions

Scheduling conflicts

Change of mind

Participants who are unable to attend may forfeit their registration without compensation.

3. EVENT CANCELLATION OR RESCHEDULING

In the event the Organizer cancels, postpones, or reschedules the Event due to:

Government or regulatory restrictions

Weather conditions

Safety or security concerns

Force majeure events (natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, etc.)

The following shall apply:

Refunds are not guaranteed.

The Organizer may, at its discretion:

Transfer registrations to a future edition of the Event, or

Offer partial refunds or credits, subject to feasibility.

Any decision made by the Organizer in such cases shall be final and binding.

4. CATEGORY CHANGE POLICY

Requests for category upgrades or downgrades are subject to:

Availability

Price difference (if any)

Cut-off dates defined by the Organizer

Category changes are not guaranteed and may involve an additional fee.

No refunds will be issued for category downgrades.

5. DUPLICATE OR ERRONEOUS PAYMENTS

In case of duplicate payments or technical errors:

Participants must notify the Organizer within 7 days of the transaction.

Refunds, if approved, will be processed after verification.

Processing time may vary depending on the payment gateway.

6. TRANSFER OF REGISTRATION

Transfer of registration to another individual is strictly not permitted.

Selling or gifting registrations is prohibited and may result in cancellation without refund.

7. NO-SHOW POLICY

Participants who do not show up on the Event day are not eligible for any refund, credit, or transfer.

8. FORCE MAJEURE

The Organizer shall not be held liable for refunds in cases beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:

Natural calamities

Government orders

Public emergencies

Any refunds or credits offered in such situations are purely at the Organizer’s discretion.

9. PAYMENT PROCESSING

Approved refunds (if any) will be processed through the original mode of payment.

Processing timelines may vary based on banks or payment gateways.

Transaction or convenience fees may be non-refundable.

10. POLICY UPDATES

The Organizer reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time.

Updates will be reflected on the website and are effective immediately upon publication.
